Knitting 102, Knit a Shawl

Student’s Required Skills: Intermediate knitting class.
Class Description: Knitting 102 / Knit a shawl is an intermediate knitting class which will enable you to build upon your knitting skills. It is great as a follow-up to beginning knitting or for those who already have the basics down. In this fun and interactive three-hour workshop, you will learn how to increase and decrease stitches while creating a triangle scarf. You will also learn to find and fix basic mistakes and pick up lost stitches as well as learn some additional knitting stitches, tips, and tricks, and when you’re finished, you will have a beautiful shawl. Please note we will start the shawl in class and you will complete it at home.
Supplies Provided by Instructor (included in the Materials Fee): Materials printed pattern, knitting needles, cable needle, stitch-markers, and resource guide.
Students Should Bring to Class: Excitement for advancing your skills!
