Class Description: You're confident with single color warps, maybe even stripes, but what next? Try clasped warp! Learn to warp with two colors at a time, creating beautiful multi-color masterpieces; and because I'm positive you'll catch on quickly, let's learn to weave with clasped weft too! We'll weave with two colors of weft at the same time and if you're feeling brave you could even try a third. We'll be warping for a scarf or table runner, so plan your materials accordingly!
Required Skills: Needs to be confident with direct warping and weaving a plain tabby weave
Students Should Bring to Class: *Students are required to bring and wear their mask in class* Rigid Heddle loom, 7.5 DPI Heddle, 200 yards fingering-sport weight yarn in Color A for warp, 200 yards fingering-sport weight yarn in Color B for warp, 2 colors of weft, 200-300 yards each in two colors of fingering-sport OR 150-200 yards each in two colors of worsted, full warping setup (clamps, warping pegs, sley/threading hook, paper or cardboard sticks for protecting your warp, scissors), 1-2 shuttles, a yarn containment unit (paper bag, small box, yarn bowl) to contain yarn while warping, pen and paper optional for taking notes.
