Dyeing: Roving and Long Locks

Location: 4-H Building
Class Description: Students will learn to dye roving and longwool locks at the same time. While we wait for the dye to set, we will wash and dye locks in the same pan.
Required Skills: Beginner friendly
Students Should Bring to Class: Students should bring a pair of heavy kitchen gloves, apron or old long sleeve shirt, 2 old bath towels
Supplies Provided by Instructor: All materials provided. Students will take home a 4 oz. braid of roving, 1 oz Wensleydale locks, and 2 oz longwool locks.
