Location: 4-H Building
Class Description: In this class you will work with strips of lovely wool fabric to create an adorable mat suitable for a trivet, a tiny pillow or a wall hanging. You will learn all the basics of traditional rug hooking, plus you’ll get the low-down on supplies and resources. Once you have learned the basics in this little piece, you will be ready to create rugs and wall hangings of any size.
Required Skills: None
Students Should Bring to Class: Small pair of sharp scissors, rug hook (instructor can supply hooks for $15 and scissors for $17.50 if students need them)
Supplies Provided by Instructor: pattern, pre-cut wool strips, photo of completed project, instruction booklet, frame to use in class
