Class Description: Cables are easy and color is fun but when you put the two together, they become striking! Colored cables give the allusion of something difficult yet it's easier than you can imagine. In class we will learn to read a colored cable chart and practice colored cables on a headband project. We'll also learn a provisional cast on and a Russian graft taking your knitting to the next level. Several colored cables patterns will be included in class.
Required Skills: Beginning to Intermediate
Students Should Bring to Class: US size 9-10 circular, double point or straight needles (class project is worked in the flat), 50 yards each in bulky weight yarn in 2 high contrasting colors, cable needle, basic knitting supplies
