I have sourced the all-US-raised fiber from the best in the country, including many National and Regional champions. You will go home with 2 oz. of washed fiber per breed for a total of one pound of wool samples. We will discuss the uses for each breed, and project samples and patterns will be available. Our eight breeds this year are: Natural Colored Merino, Natural Colored Rambouillet, Tunis, Babydoll Southdown, Scottish Blackface, Natural Colored Wensleydale, Cotswold, and Shetland.
Required Skills: Basic spinning knowledge
Students Should Bring to Class: Spinning wheel or spindle plus fiber prep tools (combs or cards)
Supplies Provided by Instructor: One pound of prepared fiber per student, handouts for each breed, and a ridiculously good time!
