Description: Pick your favorite colors and learn a fun quick technique to dye a 4 ounce braid of
roving and longwool locks all together at the same time. This is a great technique if you want
your roving and locks to match for use in a project like a felted bag, scarf or even a unique
lockspun yarn. This class is perfect for beginners. The instructor will walk you through every
step and you will take home a unique one-of-a-kind braid of roving and some beautiful
Wensleydale or Teeswater locks.
Required Skills: This is a beginner friendly class, no prior dyeing skills needed
Students Should Bring to Class: Apron or old shirt to protect clothes from dye splatter
Supplies Provided by Instructor: All materials, supplies, tools, roving and locks will be provided for use in class. Students will take home their unique braid of roving and matching locks.
