Location: 4-H Building
Description: Boro is a Japanese historical mending technique using patches and Sashiko stitching. More and more patches were added to make an additional design and make the clothes last longer.
Required Skills: Basic sewing skills: threading a needle, tying a knot, making a running stitch
Students Should Bring to Class: Scissors, although there will a few to share
Supplies Provided by Instructor: fabrics, thread, Sashiko needles and thimbles, heat removable pens, needle threaders, rulers
