Description: Plain Weave on your continuous strand Pin Loom is very useful and can be pretty as well, but sometimes we want a little more. We'll look at some lacey and textured weaves that will add a touch of class to your square weaving. You can pretty up baby blankets, sweaters and shrugs for yourself, add borders and high-lights to your weaving. It's also a bit of fun for the weaver! We'll add a little about designing your own patterns, too.

Required Skills:  This is an intermediate class so you will need to know how to weave a continuous strand square as we will not have time to teach beginners.

Students Should Bring to Class:  Bring your square loom and weaving tools, including scissors and a large eyed yarn needle. You can use a 12", a 10.5", or a 7" square for this class. I will be using the 10.5". The larger sizes work best for most of these patterns. Bring the yarn you want to try;  worsted, dk, or even fingering.

Supplies Provided by Instructor: pattern and instruction book as well as a couple loaner squares & some yarns if you need them .
