Location: 4-H Building
Description: We will learn how to warp and weave a plain square and some pattern weaves on this little loom and assemble them onto a flower to take home. It can be a rose bud on a stem or a daffodil on a barrette or more! The uses for these little looms are endless, after flowers you can weave blankets, clothing for yourself or your children, blankets and afghans, the sky's limit! And it's fun! An easy way to use up stash as well!
Required Skills: None, this is a beginner class.
Students Should Bring to Class: Bring your regular yarn tools including scissors and a large eyed yarn needle. Bring dk, or fingering yarns. You'll need a green yarn for your flower. Other flower colors of your choice.
Supplies Provided by Instructor: Your packet will include the 4" loom, weaving needle, and instruction booklet for basic weaving on this loom. Yarn for weaving a flower, and the extra Flower Weaving book.
