Description: Here’s a chance to learn about and try spinning some of those other spin-able fibers besides wool: Alpaca, Mohair, Camel, Angora Rabbit, Dog, and one mystery fiber.
Required Skills: Basic spinning skills and comfortable trying new fibers
Students Should Bring to Class: Spinning wheel or e-spinner in good working order. Drop spindle is not recommended.
Supplies Provided by Instructor: Healthy samples of several forms of each of the fibers from raw to roving, including blends with silk and/or wool for comparison. Also an informational handout.
