Description: Curious about Punch Needle Rug Hooking? In this class you will learn all the basic elements that go into creating a larger piece while finishing a trivet sized project! There will be many patterns to choose and a plethora of beautiful yarn colors to make the tiny rug your own. A simple finishing technique will ensure you complete your project before leaving class. We will discuss tools, foundation cloths, other finishing techniques as well as some alternative punching secrets.
Required Skills: This is a beginner class.
Students Should Bring to Class: Please bring scissors that can cut yarn and cotton foundation cloth (and if you need glasses, don't forget them!)
Supplies Provided by Instructor: The material fee covers all materials need to complete the project and it includes the use, during class, of a punch needle and gripper frame. You will also receive a copy of my Quick Start Guide.
