Description: In this hands-on workshop, students will learn the fundamentals of mosaic knitting, including reading mosaic charts, slipping stitches, and creating stunning geometric patterns with minimal effort. By the end of the class, each participant will be confidently knitting their hat project. Whether you're a colorwork novice or just looking to expand your knitting toolkit, this class will open up a world of color and pattern through the magic of slipped stitches.
Required Skills: Students need to have basic knitting knowledge such as casting on, knit and purl stitches, basic increasing and decreasing.
Students Should Bring to Class: Students need bring their completed homework to class: Begin the brim ribbing and first few rows of this pattern, knitting to the bottom of page one. We will knit the chart together in class.

On class day, bring your completed homework, the project yarn, preferred needles for working in the round in a small circumference (dpns, magic loop, or 2 circulars), stitch markers, notions, and the pattern (either printed or electronic version). It is helpful for students to use the Zoom app during class to see instructor’s demonstrations up close, on their own devices.
