Description: Students will learn how to eliminate long floats in your colorwork using the ladderback jacquard technique, resulting in smoother, more even work. Understand when to apply the ladderback jacquard technique in knitted designs. We’ll break down the steps of ladderback jacquard, making it easy to incorporate into your patterns.

Required Skills: Students should be able to cast-on, read a simple char, knit with two colors, and knit basic increases and decreases.

Students Should Bring to Class: Students need to complete the required homework before attending class. Please knit the ribbing, and the solid rounds of Color A before attending class. We will begin the colorwork chart together. It is helpful for students to use the Zoom app during class to see instructor’s demonstrations up close, on their own devices.

Love the Winter Hat, available free on Ravelry.
