Description: Doodles by Pacific Knit Co. are modern and whimsical colorwork motifs that enable knitters to design and knit exactly what they want! The Doodle Framework has 4 simple steps: 1) Pick your Pattern Shape, 2) Pick your Doodle Motifs, 3) Pick your Yarn Colors and 4) Start Knitting!
During this session, we’ll deep dive into each step and learn how to choose and modify your base pattern, how to create your Master Project Chart using Doodle motifs, and how to build cohesive yarn palettes that work for colorwork. Afterwards, you’ll have the confidence to create your own unique colorwork projects, which will give you endless customization with just one pattern!
Required Skills: Basic experience with basic colorwork knitting
Students Should Bring to Class: (optional) Doodle Charts/Cards of a specific theme you want to use in class; DK weight yarn in 2-6 colors for your design (to review in class during color section)
