Description: Let’s explore some crochet stitches together! We will discuss each of these stitches, and look at samples of how each stitch creates a different fabric/drape in your projects.
- Half Double Crochet (HDC): Learn the versatile half double crochet stitch
- Double Crochet (DC): Discover the popular double crochet stitch, ideal for making everything from cozy blankets to cute accessories.
- Treble Crochet (TR): Master the elegant treble crochet stitch, known for its height and drape
We will spend time covering each stitch with step-by-step guidance on how to complete each one.
Required Skills: Must know how to chain and single crochet.
Students Should Bring to Class: 2 contrasting colors in DK or Worsted weight yarn, and either a 4.00mm or 5.00mm crochet hook.
Supplies Provided by Instructor: A stitch guide, and printed pattern for granny squares.
