Description: In this class you will learn how to Tunisian crochet the simple stitch, knit stitch, and purl stitch. Yes, you read that right, knit and purl! You will be able to crochet something that looks knit with this fun type of crochet. But best of all, we will be crocheting in the round with forward and return passes using a double ended hook, no seams. We will use two contrasting colors of yarn so that we can clearly see the forward and return passes with a bonus being that the resulting hat looks like it was knit with brioche stitch. Your friends won’t believe this hat is crocheted!

Required Skills:  Can single crochet with confidence

Students Should Bring to Class:  Student should bring a size I (5.5 mm) double ended crochet hook, 100 yards each of DK weight yarn in two contrasting colors, scissors, tapestry needle, several crochet stitch markers

Supplies Provided by Instructor: I will provide a handout with pattern.
