Traditional Rug Hooking with Heidi, Waldoboro technique

Minimum number of students: 5

Maximum number of students: 15

Minimum age of student: Ages 16 and up (no parent required)

Total Class Fee (includes $25 materials fee):  $90

Location: 4-H Building


Description: Learn how to use a sculpted (Waldoboro) technique to make up to

four adorable pins of your choice.


Required Skills:  This class uses a traditional rug hooking stitch, which is easy to learn. Beginners are welcome.

Students Should Bring to Class:  If you have a rug hooking frame, a traditional hook (not a latch hook) and scissors, bring them. Heidi will have a frame for you to borrow in class if you need one, and she will also have hooks and scissors for sale if you need them.

Supplies Provided by Instructor: You will receive a piece of serged rug hooking foundation cloth, pattern templates, pin backs, and the pre-cut wool needed for your project.
