Class Description: Don’t we all need to learn another method for adding beads to our handspun art yarns? The 1st half of the workshop will be dedicated to the fun of corespinning with rovings. The 2nd half of the workshop we’ll be adding beads while spinning.
Required Skills: Able to spin yarn.
Students Should Bring to Class: Wheel with large orifice and extra bobbins.
Supplies Provided by Instructor: 8 oz roving/top, large holed beads, core yarn, binding thread, and magic tool.

Class Description: Have you ever wanted to learn to knit, or maybe you just need a refresher and some motivation to start again? Then beginning knitting is just the class for you! In this fun and interactive three-hour workshop, you will learn how to cast on, how to knit and purl (and learn the difference between the two). You will also learn how to read a basic pattern with a chart, receive some helpful hints, and get started
creating your own cotton dishcloth / washcloth.
Required Skills: None, no experience necessary.
Students Should Bring to Class: Excitement for a new skill!
Supplies Provided by Instructor: Materials include printed pattern, knitting needles, skein of cotton yarn, stitch-markers, and resource guide.

Class Description: Students will start with the basics of needle felting and build on their skills with each project, ending with a basic wire armature. They will take home 3-4 completed projects as well as a reusable foam pad, felting needles, and finger guards.
Required Skills: None, no experience necessary.
Students Should Bring to Class: Excitement for a new skill!
Supplies Provided by Instructor: All wool and supplies will be provided.

Class Description: Learn the basics of Punch Needle Rug hooking while completing two projects. First you will make a mug rug on Monk's cloth to learn the basic stitch lengths, don't worry there are only two! You will then go on to complete a project on a pre-stretched linen frame that will be ready to hang when you are done.
Required Skills: Open to All.
Student Should Bring to Class: A small pair of scissors and the willingness to learn something new!
Supplies Provided by Instructor: Punch and hoop to use during class and all supplies to finish both projects.
