Volunteer!

Fiber Fusion needs the willing hands of many volunteers to help it run smoothly!

Here is your chance to share in this exciting new event.  We have a remarkable team that is doing the groundwork and creating the presentations.  Now we need a committed team of people to pull it off at Show Time! 

We need your help in whatever capacity you are able, either helping the committee chairs in their preparations during the next few months leading up to the show, or during the show
Oct. 19 & 20, 2013.

Here are some examples in which volunteers could participate:

• If you can contribute some time from your home by making phone-calls, mailing letters etc, we would welcome your support.
• Help will be needed on Friday marking out booth spaces, setting up the Welcome Desk,  setting up fleece show areas, hanging banners and the like.    
  

• We need help with fleece check-in on Friday night before the show. This hands on experience would enable you to get to know what all is involved in entering a fleece into a show.

• We need several people to assist the alpaca fleece judge during the show.
  
• Help will also be needed with the mohair & wool judging.
  
• Help will be needed checking in and displaying fiber arts entries on Saturday morning.
  
• Raffle items will need to be collected from vendors and put on display on Saturday morning.
  

• If you enjoy interacting with the public, you could elect to take a shift in manning the information table at the entrance door, answering general questions and directing people to specific areas of the show.
• Help will be needed outdoors on Saturday morning placing signs and balloons in the parking lots.
