So 40+ years of sheeping has lead to a wide and varied experience in nearly the full spectrum of the sheep industry. From hobby flocks, to over 1,000 commercial ewe flock, seed stock producer, rare breeds, sheep dairy, dabbling in the show ring regionally and nationally. Shearing for 25 years around the region for hobbyists, purebred breeders, show fleeces, commercial fleeces, and health maintenance has created a broad knowledge of breeds, nutrition, and management. Participation annually to increase knowledge of any type of sheep management is recognized as ‘sheep touring’…. Currently still raising Romeldales, Blue Faced Leicesters, and dairy sheep at Custom Colored Critters keeps me, my daughter, and grand daughter (4th generation sheep farmer) busy and happy in Prineville, Oregon.
