L&R Farm

L&R Farm raises award winning fleece from a mixed flock of sheep and angora goats.  The farm is situated on 5 acres nestled between apple orchards and hay fields on the south east slope of the Badger Pocked area with beautiful views of the Kittitas Valley.  Our first 4 Ewes (Border Leicester/BFL mules) arrived January 1st, 2019. In the spring of 2020 Wendy and Tinkerbelle an Angora doe and her kid joined us. Over the next few years we added Gotland’s, BFL’s and Wensleydale’ to the sheep flock, and Nubian’s to the goat group.

​Icelandic & East Friesian/Finn Sheep

Dusk to Dawn Farm of Poulsbo, WA

Dusk to Dawn Farm is a small family farm in Poulsbo, WA, using regenerative agriculture practices for our small flock of mixed Icelandic, Finn, East Friesian and Gotland sheep. Maia (she/her) is Shepherdess and manages the flock. Crafting with natural colored Lopi Icelandic wool is rewarding. Our hides are tanned naturally on farm, without harsh chemicals, using bark tanning traditional methods. Wool balls are made by hand from "waste wool" and reclaimed materials. Select breeding animals are available each year.
