Class Description: So you want to learn to crochet? Well, this class will have you HOOKED! You will learn how to do a beginning chain, all the basic crochet stitches (slip stitch, single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet, and treble crochet), how to turn your work for working in rows, and changing colors. As we learn we
will be creating a cotton dishcloth. You can go home with the skills to make many more cloths, scarves, and rectangular shawls. Learn to read patterns and you’ll be well on your way to conquer any crochet project that comes your way!
Required Skills: None.
Students Should Bring to Class: Please bring approximately 200 yards of worsted weight cotton yarn, size H crochet hook, scissors, several crochet stitch markers, and large eyed yarn needle.
