Class Description: Have you ever wandered into the animal barn and thought “I would really like to get my own fiber animal”- maybe an alpaca, an angora goat, a sheep or a llama??? Well, we can tell you all about how to do just that. We will go over how to get a great animal, including what characteristics you need to look for in a healthy animal. What you need to be concerned about to keep the animal of your choice (be it an alpaca, llama, fiber goat or sheep) healthy and happy. Bring your questions and come and enjoy a moment to unwind and pet a fluffy creature. Fall in love with the fiber animal world and all the joy animal husbandry can bring you.
Student’s Required Skills: Open to all.
Supplies Provided by Instructor: Animals and handling tools.
