Class Description: Have you experienced spinning the Long wools? Here is a chance to try them or expand on your knowledge as we try the Leicesters wools, Romney, Teeswater, Wensleydale, Lincoln, Cotswold and Dartmore and discuss the properties and idiosyncrasies of each breed as we spin. Class includes a healthy portion of fibers.
Required Skills: Be able to spin singles confidently and be willing to try new types of wool.
Student Should Bring to Class: A wheel or spindle they are comfortable with using.
Supplies Provided by Instructor: Generous fiber samples and information handouts on each breed.
