Class Description: Can you see the forest for the Trees? In this workshop we will weave a 3-D tree on a round frame and go home with a 3-D piece ready to hang on your wall. Learn how to warp a round frame to create a 3-D piece of artwork and learn techniques of tapestry weaving to create a 3-D look. From start to finish we will be weaving with handspun art yarns; no 2 pieces will ever be the same.

Student Should Bring to Class: Please bring a pair of scissors labeled with your name

Supplies Provided by Instructor (included in the Materials Fee): 

  • 4” metal ring
  • Warping cotton
  • Wrapping cotton for ring
  • Yarn Needle
  • Various handspun art yarns
  • Crochet hooks
